REQUIREMENTS

An individual can join CMI under one of the following credential relationships:

Recognized Member
This entry level credential is a non-ministerial membership in the ministry of CMI. An individual at this level can be a current minister or a layperson who wishes to partner with CMI in its efforts and initiatives around the world. This level requires the completion of an application form, and two forms of reference.

Licensed Minister
This level of ministerial credential provides the minister with official recognition as a Reverend. This level of accreditation allows the minister time for God to reinforce the calling upon his or her ministry. The CMI Board of Directors may approve candidates that hold current license with another recognized and approved ministerial organization as long as there is no conflict of interest.

Ordained Minister
This is CMI's highest level of official ministerial recognition. Candidates must have held Licensed Minister Credentials with CMI for at least two years. The CMI Board of Directors may approve candidates that currently hold ordination credentials with another recognized and approved organization as long as there is no conflict of interest.

Note: CMI reserves the right to give ministerial credentials based on compelling biblical education, if applicant is involved in schooling, as well as prior pastoral experience.

CMI has two categories of church or ministry relationship:

Foundational
A church or ministry that is pioneered from out of the CMI headquarters or leadership. This level, since birthed directly from CMI, is directly subject to the leadership of CMI.

Network
An existing, self-governing church or ministry seeking any or all of the following - recognition, partnership, covering. This level of relationship is based on the premise that there is a shared vision, purpose, and doctrinal belief and that both parties have made a deliberate decision to agree to work together, support one another and interact with one another.
